Usopp gulped.
Women like Nico Robin weren't supposed to talk to nobody's like him.
"I need an art tutor," was all she said.
And just like that Usopp found himself teaching her how to draw.
A curved line.
Robin marveled at the passion Usopp displayed for his work, though she didn't tell him outright, preferring to remain silent as he explained.
A simple shape.
Her first drawing was certainly creative, Usopp thought as he observed the strange image before him, but it lacked feeling.
Definition and shading.
During one of their later lessons, Robin asked if he had a girlfriend.
His flustered response made her laugh.
The finished piece.
Her hand found his as they both stared at the painting hanging on the wall. Once Usopp realized that they were holding hands, he quickly let go.
"Are you scared of me Usopp?"
"No, it's just...I'm not good with physical contact."
Robin drew closer then, her face inches from his own.
"Then let me teach you to cope," she whispered before kissing him full on the mouth.
