It's like "oh snap, Luffy... D:" Subtle and seemingly harmless a problem, and you can't really blame him for acting that way, but ahhh. I know if I was on the crew I'd never be able to tell him otherwise. And everyone's reaction's, especially Chopper's... DDDDDD: YOU ARE THE SWEETEST EVER, CHOPPER.
I'm very interested in this whole "how does Luffy handle grief and, perhaps more importantly, failure?" thing. And you know, this reminds me vaguely of something by serrende, too, have you ever read it? (If you have, I think you'll know what I'm talking about, if not, never mind. ^^;;)
Oda better not just drop the issue, not that he could be expected to do such a thing. He knows better than that. Let's hope for much group hugging and nakama comfort all-around. :D And this was like... everyone giving Luffy a hug. Just not in the physical sense.
