Here on Baterilla

Outside there are
flowers and
the sound of rain
the wind whipping up
the waves to play.

Inside I am
sitting by
the window and
rocking the baby
safe here in me

and missing you.
Alone with
the flowers and
the rain, the waves, the
wind in palm trees.

But not for long.

I really like its gentle rhythm and understated feel. Actually I think it should have won.
