(drum roll, please.)
Jan. 23rd, 2009 09:22 pmCongrats!
...to this week's winner,
santa_sock.
But first, kudos go to
synvamp's The Greatest Swordsman and
serrende's Appreciation. Zoro's perspective on the use of swords/blades was quite interesting and very Zoro-esque, and Appreciation was just a fun and charming read. If I could do a tie, I'd put
bronzetigress's Needle up too--Nami's skill at sewing, and the way the author tied it in to Nami's "treasures," was very gracefully executed.
In Perfect Time handles a crew we don't hear of often, and this drabble is a wonderful, wonderful little snapshot of the Rumba pirates before their tragedy--I loved the goofy, uplifting atmosphere, which I'm sure the Rumba pirates were all about. :) Plus, of course, excellent writing and humor. (The fourth sentence killed me, yo.)
Props, santa_sock, now it's your turn~ ♥
...yes, the sparkle text was entirely necessary.at least I resisted the dong font.
