A thick fog clung to the sea on the day that God descended to the blue sea with an almighty crash. Though it was always foggy in the Floridian triangle.
Roused out of his sleep by the loud noise, Brook rushed over to the rotting balustrade of his ship to gawk and scream in surprise at the stricken vessel, its form unlike anything he'd ever seen. A second bang of wood smashing to pieces grabbed his attention a few seconds later, splinters showering everywhere as something perforated the old wood of his own ship's deck.
Approaching the disaster zone with some caution, and a 'Yohohoho' just for the hell of it, Brook peered through the clouds of dust drifting from the wreckage.
“Demon filth!”
Brook only had a split second to grab onto his afro and duck as a crackle of lightening shot out of the cloud. Hearing the sound of footsteps thudding on mould-softened planks, Brook hopped back with light steps.
Arrogant strides carried Enel out of the mist; even though he was shorter than Brook, he still managed to look down on him in a way that only total contempt could allow. “What right have you, nothing but a piece of mere dreck, a demon, to walk upon the same Earth as God?”
Empty eye sockets stared down the deck at Enel, watching sparks crackle on pale skin.
“Well, you're the one who fell from the heavens, yohohoho!”
