She will be hunted and killed. The reality of it was stifling him.  But humanity screamed inside him, ‘WHAT SINS DOES A NEWBORN HAVE??!!!’ When and if they find Rouge, they'll kill her and their child. Roger shifted uncomfortably in his cell. He had no regrets about the life he’s lived. None at all. Not the times he killed, not the times he drank or ate beyond measure. Roger did not regret meeting the beautiful golden haired Rouge, did not regret what they did and what they created together.

 

But he does regret not being able to protect Rouge and the unborn child. Would the child have dark hair like him? Or would the child be blonde, like Rouge? Her freckles? His nose? Were they having a son or a daughter? An Anne or an Ace? Roger heard footsteps towards his cell, and saw Garp. Their protection…Anne or Ace’s Protection. He got up and grinned.
