NOTE: This contains mad spoilers for the sixth One Piece movie. It also probably won't make any sense if you haven't seen said movie.

When Monkey D. Luffy wakes up from a nightmare, the whole ship knows. The scream he made as he sat bolt upright in his hammock echoed across the whole ship. The sounds he made as he overturned his hammock and fell down on top of Usopp were considerably quieter, but no less disruptive, particularly when coupled with Usopp's sudden cry of pain as both of them went toppling to the floor in a heap.

Luffy sat up, rubbing his head, muttering to himself as the rest of the room, woken by all the noise, started moving.

"Oi, Luffy! You all right?!"

One of the lanterns was lit, illuminating the room. Sanji was standing over him, looking down with an expression caught halfway between concern and irritation at being woken up in the middle of the night. Chopper, standing by the lantern he had just lit, was just going straight for concern.

Zoro continued snoring in his bed hammock, undisturbed by all of the commotion.

"What was that?" Usopp asked as he carefully extricated himself from underneath Luffy.

Luffy grabbed his hat from where it fell on the floor and placed it back on top of his head. "Oh, uh, just a scary dream."

The others stared at him in disbelief for a moment before turning back to their beds, shaking their heads.

"That's it?" Usopp asked disbelievingly.

Luffy chuckled as he pulled himself up, back into his hammock. "Yeah. Sorry to wake you guys up for it."

Sanji rolled his eyes as he blew out the lantern. "Bad dreams," he muttered, tossing in a dismissive tch at the end. "Nothing could possibly scare you that badly, anyways. Except maybe a world-wide meat shortage"

Luffy rolled onto his back, and stared up at the ceiling. "Yeah, nothing," he said...but when he closed his eyes, Omatsuri was there waiting for him again, with his ice-cold face, and his wooden arrows. And behind him was the stalk, terrible and vast, stretching up into the sky, and he was watching his friends disappear, one by one. Robin...Usopp...Sanji...Nami...Zoro...

"Nothing," he repeated quietly, and then turned on his side and fell asleep again.

Argh, that movie's ending was so intense. Poor Luffy. No wonder he can't get that out of his head.
