He didn't know why there was a cafe in the middle of nowhere. At first, he assumed it to be a hallucination but when he heard the sonata drifting out, curiosity got the better of him and the traveler decided to stop at "Spider's Cafe".

Immediately, he was greeted by an old woman in a princess get-up.

"Welcome, welcome, welcome!" she said in a rapidfire voice, curtseying and showing off way too much leg. "Come in, you bastard, before I die of old age! Ow, my back!"

There was an explosion from the side of the cafe and a man wearing a firefighter outfit emerged from the smoke. He saluted the stunned traveler.

"Fire's out." he simply said, picking his nose absentmindedly.

The man considered fleeing for the road before the most normal looking person he had seen yet emerged, hips swaying. She smiled warmly.

"Welcome to Spider's Cafe. Would you like coffee?"

"Yes..." he said uncertainly.

"Kyahahaha! Wouldn't you like some hot chocolate instead?" a blond woman popped up behind the blunette, wearing an apron stained with chocolate.

"N-no thank you..." He turned around, only to bump into an enormous barrel of a man.

"Piiiiiiiiiizzzzzzaaaaaaaa?"

"Um, no?”

“Hey, sonny, hurry up and get inside already I’m not getting any younger!”

“Please, Miss Merry Christmas, stop scaring the customer.” The blunette sighed. “Miss Goldenweek, what are you doing?”

The man whipped around to see a little girl with a fake mustache and beret reaching out towards him with a paintbrush dipped in green.

“Ah! Get away!” the man cried out, jumping back. He looked at the strange people watching him, as if expecting him to do something interesting. The blond looked like she was going to start cracking up.

The traveler leapt back to his camel and swiftly rode away.
