Robin Nico. Age 8. Eleventh grader and genius-prodigy-kid.
It wasn’t much of a surprise that all the other taller students ignored her during the first few days, glancing down only to avoid stepping on her. Then Nami finally saw her potential as a money-maker and quickly made friends with the shy little girl.
“You don’t mind going along with my plans, right Robin?”
“Um, actually, I-“
“Okay, that’s great!”
Nami’s first target was Zoro Roronoa, notorious for his endless tardies (excuse: “the classrooms all changed floors and the map didn’t do shit.”) and his inability to focus on his schoolwork, resulting in a grade dangerously close to an F.
“How about little Robin here does your homework for you at the low price of fifty bucks?”
“FIFT- damn you, witch. No.”
“Fifty five.”
“YOU JUST RAISED IT!”
Of course, Robin had no say in the matter and she ended up finishing Zoro’s homework after Nami was paid seventy dollars in cash.
Not that she minded, or anything. It was pretty easy and Nami bought her a new book afterwards.
In less than a week, Nami was rolling in money and Robin was doing homework for fourteen students, all of whom were coerced by Nami into paying her ridiculous price.
“Nami, my hand is getting tired.”
“There’s only five more to go, Robin. You’re doing great!”
“I want fifty percent of the profits.”
Nami stopped hugging her money-stuffed backpack and gaped at the little girl.
“… What?”
“I want fifty percent of the profits. If you don’t comply, I’ll fill in all the wrong answers and the students will want refunds.”
“Not refunds!”
Robin nodded solemnly and held out her tiny hand. “Fifty percent, please.”
Nami grumbled and fished out a fistful of cash.
The eight-year-old smiled and pocketed the money.
