Zoro treads the fine line between destiny and derangement. The swordsman’s hunger for his dream and his determination make him strong but passion for violence has a dark side.

“Problem?” he growled.
Problem?!
Serious. Sharp. To the point. All these things, he was …but problem?
He was determined. Agile, powerful and strong…
Zoro did not have a problem.
It was them that had a problem, those fools that had attacked him. Three, in fact: serious, sharp and to the point.
The swordsman turned his body slightly, allowing the soldiers to fall past him in a wave. He dodged fluidly again and his blades flashed in the sun. One long arc and he spun away; a thin stream of blood followed the tip of the sword clamped between his teeth.
Their problem.
Not his.
Zoro could hear movement behind him, just the soft scrape of a leather shoe in the dirt. In one sharp strike, he knocked the man clean out of the air and slammed him into the ground.
He wanted more.
Even now, bleeding and bruised. His muscles burned with overuse and his vision blurred with blood loss. He could barely stand but he could still fight.
More.
“When will we find someone worth fighting?” The swordsman growled, coughing for a minute on a blood clot that had formed in the back of his throat.
Sanji grimaced as the swordsman spat blood around his sword, and then the cook blew a thin stream of smoke over the pile of limp bodies.
Zoro finally drew the sword from between his lips, tasting the mixed blood tainting the blade. It was almost all theirs.
He smiled.
“Oh yeah,” the blonde shook his head, “Big fucking problem.”
