January 30th is about to end in my timezone, so let's do this thing. It's been a great seven days, and I had a blast watching you guys grab my prompt and run with it.

It was a close call with a lot of entries submitted - kudos and respect in particular go to alice_and_lain (Buddy System, a delicious serving of Straw Hat crack), devlinnreiko (I Can Be Stronger, a fabulous and touching piece of art and I'm not even a Zoro fan!), and to dried_frog_pill for The Chore of Trash Collecting, a Hina fic that really turned the prompt on its head.

Your winner for the week is the bombshell of awesome that is abarero's By Captain's Decree! It's cute, it's funny, it's got clever dialogue and GREAT back-and-forth between the Straw Hat pirates...all of whom appear in the fic, which is no mean feat and deserves more incoherent squeeing than a sock like me could politely post without an lj cut. abarero, I hand the reins to you!
