Before they had been separated for two years, Nami and Usopp had reluctantly formed a pact borne out of necessity and the fact that they were the only sane crew members that weren't needed during emergencies due to not being doctors. The pact was such: in the wake of the destruction that the other Strawhats inevitably left behind them wherever they went, Nami and Usopp would both work together to apologize to whoever's property got demolished. That very pact was in danger, two years and some change later, as both Strawhats squared off against each other.
"You're going to have to be the one to carry on the job, Nami," Usopp said, striking a heroic pose with his slingshot. "I've become too strong! I'm one of the ones you'll have to apologize for now!"
"Well, I've become stronger too," Nami shot back, clouds appearing over her head. "Weather is far stronger than anything a plant can do."
"That just goes to show that you know nothing about plants!" Usopp countered. "You think a little lightning could phase a carnivorous plant the size of an entire island?"
"Hah! Did you know that the strongest storms can shift islands?"
"I don't care! I'm not going to be left alone to apologize for all the trouble they'll cause now! Have you seen everyone?! They're a billion times worse than before!"
"Like hell I'm going to be the one left alone!"
As the ceiling in the bar grew thick with clouds and Usopp loaded with slingshot, Chopper sighed. No one ever pitied the poor doctor who had to deal with the injuries that the wake of fighting left behind and he didn't have anyone to help him either.
