Summary: Why Dragon is avoiding Ivankov.------------------------------------------------------------
Eh? You want to know why Dragon has been avoiding Ivankov? Funny story, that.Apparently the leader’s birthday was last week. I know because I got dragged into helping out with the decorations by Commander Ivankov. It was kind of fun actually. We were all smoke and dagger with getting all the confetti and balloons down into conference room two, you know the one in the basement? Miles was keeping watch, while the rest of us snuck the presents, food, and helium down there. Only I guess we hadn’t been sneaky enough.
Miles sent out an alarm just when we were finishing the preparations, but it was so late that there was no way we could have all snuck out of that room and pretended to be doing something else. Instead we were forced to think of another way to stall Dragon long enough to finish putting up the decorations.
Over twenty people in the room and no one could think of a way to stall Dragon. Just when we all thought the surprise birthday party would be discovered, the commander asked if his hair looked okay and walked out the door. Right into Dragon.
So while we’re rushing, quietly, to put up the rest of the decorations in time, the commander was standing out there, stalling dragon… and flirting the entire time.
By the time we were ready, they had been standing in the hallway for almost five minutes. I swear! I have never seen Dragon so off balance. You know that attitude he’s got. The I-can-handle-anything-that-comes-my-way-without-thinking-about-it one. Yeah, that was GONE. He seriously looked like he wanted to ask when the heck the world got drunk.
I almost felt sorry for the guy. But it was too dang hilarious.
Anyway, that’s why Dragon has been avoiding Commander Ivankov.
