“There are contingencies for a reason, cook.”
“Shut the hell up. And you’re the last person who can talk about contingencies. You’re also the last person who should be using such big words.”
“Contrary to what your ero-addled brain may believe, Nami’s plans are not the ‘bestest ideas ever’,” Zoro shifted his hands off his swords hilts to make air quotes, “and I believe that’s a direct quote from your freaky wibbling ass.”
Sanji scoffed. “You love my wibbling ass, marimo-jerky.”
“What I’d love, dork head, is for your ass to get us out of this.”
“Dork head? That’s the best you can do? You’re really slipping.”
“Are we really doing this now? Really? Because I really having no fucking idea why I’m still crouching here like an idiot,” Zoro glared at Sanji, “don’t even say it-“
“No idea what you’re talking about, idiot.”
“-when I should just kill everyone and get it over with.”
“Oi, stupid face, come here.”
“That insult is even lamer than mine.” Zoro stepped closer and rolled his eyes when the blond planted a spectacularly pathetic kiss on him.
“You want something better, don’t get covered in blood.”
Zoro snorted. “Whatever happened to ‘don’t get dead’?”
Sanji raised an eyebrow at him. “You get dead, I’m gonna believe you’re an imposter and then I’m gonna hunt down the real you and kick his ass.”
Zoro smirked at him. “You’re such an ero-cook.”
“As you say, marimo. Now go kill something.”
Zoro’s grin, as he dove into the fray, scared the closest group of Marines and as Sanji waited for the screams to end he figured that maybe next time he’d remember to make a Plan B.

Date: 2012-04-14 02:11 pm (UTC)I like the way their insults slowly get more and more pathetic until it's obvious that they're not even trying any more.
Sanji's "You get dead, I’m gonna believe you’re an imposter and then I’m gonna hunt down the real you and kick his ass" made me chuckle. It doesn't matter if things aren't going according to plan, things aren't going to get that bad.
And really, who needs a plan B when you have a Zoro on hand to just kill whatever gets in your way? x3
