summer_tempests wrote a wonderful story about the Big Bad in the current arc, Caesar! I love the characterization and the personification of his Grin. But the story was well over 1000 words and is sadly out of the running. synvamp also wrote a hilarious entry regarding the...friendship...of Zoro and Sanji. The little details sprinkled into the fic really gives it a slice-of-life feel.
