His grip on her wrist is light as he holds her hand raised before his face. Kissing the very tips of her fingers with full lips, and Nami watches silently through hooded eyes. The kisses trail over the back of her hand, Usopp’s mouth brushing over her knuckles, then her wrist. Leaving a meandering path of heat up her forearm, his lips warm and slightly chapped, his gaze lowered.

Nami giggles when he kisses the inside of her elbow, sighs when his lips move over her bicep and to her shoulder. Holds her breath as he kisses at her neck.

He hesitates for a moment, and then he’s moving on to her other shoulder, beginning the same path in reverse down to her other hand.

Nami frowns and bites her lip, reaching up to tangle her fingers in the black curls of his hair. He blinks at her in surprise, and his face is flushed, lips parted, as she pulls him where she wants him, where she’s been waiting to feel him. Tilting her head at the last moment so his nose glances over her cheek, and then their lips are pressing together, finally, and he makes a small noise against her mouth that makes her toes curl in her sandals.

He can be such a damn coward sometimes, except that isn’t fair, because he’s the one who took that first step, who took her hand in his and tasted her skin. But if Nami has to take charge, if she has to be the one to make the kiss real, well, she’s used to taking what she wants, and she smiles as Usopp’s hand settles against her waist, kiss growing deeper as he finds his courage yet again.

Ooooh man this is super cute, I love it! Hehe, imagining Usopp doing the whole cartoon-ish kiss-up-the-arm-to-lips move is too adorable for words (I say cartoonish because the only thing coming to mind is Looney Toons and Tom and Jerry lol) and when he chickens out that's just so him haha. Nami pushing him into it is even better. They're characterized very well! It's a great first entry and welcome to the comm!

I like the little details pointing to the 'physics' of the moment, like how Ussop kisses, 'Kissing the very tips of her fingers with full lips', or that Nami seems ticklish in the elbow, Nami giggles when he kisses the inside of her elbow, or the mass of Ussops' hair, reaching up to tangle her fingers in the black curls of his hair. Nami is focused both on the emotional side, how she feels with him kissing up her arm, but also the visual and especially his lips here.
