Yay, new prompt!
Um... I'm not sure if I know what this word means? I know what dotting the I's is, but I don't know what being dotted refers too... Sorry!

Ugh, English is not my mother tongue so I hoped the dictionary had the right word. I meant dotted as in pattern. I originally wanted to take polka-dotted but I wasn't sure.

I can change the prompt into another, if that's better?

How about just modifying the prompt to "Dots"?

I've just changed it into dots! XD I don't really care, my only intention was to gently guide your ideas into a funnier direction.

Dots work, I think. Also Polka Dots if you really want to be specific. That refers to the pattern you're thinking of.
Dots could also refer to connecting the dots.

As for dotted, it could refer to something having dots on it. But as a native speaker myself, the first thing that comes to mind is "follow the dotted line".

That was one idea I had on my mind when picking the word. I thought "dotted" could mean the pattern but also a "dotted line". But I guess dots is really better.
