 Didn't really expect this! It was just going to be  gen fic about Nami finding shelter for the crew, but it seems that Robin has managed to sneak in some surprise femslash... cheeky girl!

Nami shivered as the steady Northerly picked up and drove the dark clouds across the sky. She held the log pose out in front of her and checked their bearing one more time. It was times like this, with the sky racing and the sleet stinging her pale skin, that her skills were needed most.


No matter how deep the wind bit into her tired bones, no matter how her muscles ached or her vision blurred with concentration - no matter how many hours passed - she would get them to shelter. She would stay on the deck and face this storm, her will against all the power of the Grand Line. For all these men had done for her… Usopp’s laughing eyes for her comfort. Sanji’s fluttering lashes for her ego. Chopper’s wide, sweet stare for her determination. Zoro’s steely glare for her courage. Luffy’s burning level gaze for her once-shattered faith…

The light dimmed and she raised her own clear eyes to the sky - only to see a canopy of protecting arms, reaching out into the storm.
 

 “Navigator-san?”
 

 “Yes, Robin…?” She turned and smiled.
 

 “You looked like you needed some shelter... ”
 

 And Robin’s dark warm eyes for her heart.
 

 “Robin I…”
 

 “…we don’t want you to die of hyperthermia now, do we? I’d have to chip you off the deck.”
 

 She punched Robin affectionately in the shoulder and let the storm take her muttered curses and throw them out into the waves. She turned back to the raging water, her skin trembling with cold. Warm arms embraced her and Robin’s soft voice whispered in her ear,
 

 “I hear that sharing body heat is a great way to stave off hyperthermia… Now, let’s get these boys to safety.”
