Pairing/Characters: Luffy, Sanji
Word Count(if applicable): 293
Prompt: Mind control
“Sanji! Gimme some meat!”
Sanji scoffed, slamming his foot into Luffy’s chest to keep his captain away from Nami-san and Robin-chan’s dinner. “I fed you two hours ago. Leave. Now.”
“But Sanji! I’m so hungry!” Luffy whined.
“OUT!”
Defeated, Luffy hung his head and shuffled out of the galley. Sanji sighed, thinking that he could finally get back to preparing the girls’ filet mignon (Robin-chan wanted medium well and Nami-chan liked hers well done – the other idiots would get chuck roast). He took in the smell – wonderful. The girls would love it.
Now it was time to start on the potatoes – he bit his bottom lip. Mashed or roasted? Either one would work, but he had to make his decision now if he wanted dinner to be done on time.
Sanji felt a tap on his shoulder.
He turned around a saw Luffy standing behind him, a determined look on his face and a pocket watch dangling from his left hand. He started to swing it. “Look at the watch, Sanji. You are getting very sleepy. Very, very sleepy,” Luffy said slowly.
Far from amused, Sanji crossed his arms but couldn’t help but follow the pocket watch, his eyes rolling back and forth as he followed it. “Right. Sleepy,” he said dryly.
“Very, very sleepy.”
“Very sleepy.”
“Sleepy.”
Sanji felt his eyes begin to sink. “Sleepy.”
“You are going to give me meat.”
“I am going to give you meat.”
Luffy grinned. “You are going to give you lots of meat.”
“I am going to –“
That was the moment recognition lit up on Sanji’s face.
“THAT’S MY POCKETWATCH!”
Instead of leaving the galley with a couple of steaks, Luffy left with a bump on his face the size of a pot roast.

Date: 2009-06-30 06:33 pm (UTC)You gotta give Luffy points for creativity. But it would have worked out so much better if it wasn't Sanji's watch :)
