Title: Snarl
Characters/ Pairing: Usopp Zoro
Word count: 300
Prompt: enemies
It's Usopp against his hair. Some slight Zosopp at the end. I seem unable to write OP without it.
Only curly haired people really know how painful this is.

Usopp bit off a curse as he ran his finger through his hair—and got them stuck. Quickly, with a glance all around him to make sure there were no on looking nakama to witness the incident, he removed his hand.

            It was time to brush it out again.

First he located the hairbrush he kept under his stash of ammo. (Manly men didn’t have hair troubles like girls did, so he had to keep the brush hidden.) then he found a secluded spot on the ship—not an easy task with a clingy doctor, perverted skeleton, and a bouncy captain who was the worst klutz the Great Captain Usopp had ever encountered, even worse than the blind bunny rabbits with three left feet each that he’d saved form extinction at the tender age of five. (A giant carrot had attacked them and he’d, well, told them to eat it. Hey’ it had worked. Actually now that he thought about it, he’d have to tell that story to the captain sometime; it was a Luffy-like way to win.)

            Well, day dreaming was not helping Usopp to untangle his hair, so he shook his head to clear it. Bad mistake, his hair decided to tangle itself even worse. With a resigned sigh, he began the battle. It took all of his strength to yank the brush through any of his tangles, and each tug hurt.

            “I could help with that.”

Usopp yelped, but he handed the brush to Zoro anyway. After all, if the swordsman could beat all the enemies he had, then; surely he had a decent chance of winning against Usopp’s hair.

            This turned out to be true. Zoro actually had enough control of the brush to make it feel good. Even so, Usopp began to contemplate growing dreads.

Hee, Usopp vs his hair, and the hair is winning. XD (I love that he hides the brush, because hair problems aren't heroic enough!)
