I am thrilled to know all the details that work for me, because, again - confidence in drawing skills lacking. But I worked on this and tried hard and - and it works and now I am grinning~!
And it makes me extra happy that you like the title, because - TITLES. Are important. Yes. But when in doubt, steal from Oda. ♥ (And, yes - history repeating! Shanks said so himself... But without him setting out on his adventure, so many years ago, Luffy wouldn't be the Luffy we know and love.)

I colored this one on the computer, but it still looks kind of like water colors. I guess I can't get away from the fact that I love the water color look. ^^;; But if it works, then that's good! Excellent, even!
OH~ yes! Water color look is definitely pleasing to the eye! It's very relaxing! And of course, aside from the lovely colors-- the drawing itselfis very pretty! *__________*

And the composition! It's so wide, and seeing him from behind like that, it really looks like he's about to set out into the unknown. And the colors of dawn makes the ocean and the sky look even more new and exciting, and the next thing we know he's having years and years of adventures and without him we wouldn't have Luffy as we know him! ♥♥♥

*squirms* Well, they'll actually just be a set of 30 drabbles. I'm claiming Shanks for Round 1 of 30_onepiece you see...and I'm not sure they'll be very good. But if you insist, once my claim is accepted and I start posting them, I'll send you a link :-)
