It was over.

 

She had known she couldn’t go on much further even back on Skypiea but there was no way she’d ever leave her crew stranded. Especially not on a cloud.

 

She owed them too much. For taking her where no Caravel could ever have hoped to go. For counting her as one of their own. For every shred of her happiness.

 

She didn’t know what led them to Water 7 but whatever it was she was thankful. They’d be able to find another here to take her place. The Straw Hat Pirates would sail on and she was glad.

 

But still…Even though she knew it was impossible, she wanted to be the one to carry them. Wanted to share in their adventures.

 

Even just one more time.
