How are you guys so awesome?
Jan. 8th, 2009 09:53 amWow. Just wow. This was an incredible first response and so many amazing entries. You guys made this really, really hard. There were so many I loved:
dried_frog_pill's Raleigh and kid!Shanks,
serrende's mini-Paulie,
pyrat_xo's Robin musing on Luffy and Crocodile, and
runic_binary's marvelous look at possible Lucci/Kalifa backstory especially.
But the entry that really fit the prompt and delivered the nakamaship for me is
oxymoronic3's Stories. It's Usopp doing what he does best and the crew being the crew around him. ♥
oxymoronic3, the stage is yours.
Additional mod-type insert: We now have shiny new tags! If you guys could at least tag your posts with the genre that fits best (gen, het, nakamaship, slash or femslash) and entry-type (fiction or art), we'd appreciate it greatly. If you feel like adding a character tag, feel free!
Also, a small addendum to the rules: let's keep the entries to three per person. Not that I think it'll be a big deal, but we're still a baby comm, we don't want to spam people's f-pages.

but, but, but...

It just seems so sad.
Love the new tags btw!

Date: 2009-01-08 06:58 pm (UTC)Personally, I don't mind a bit of flist spam from communities. If it bothers me, I just take them off my friend's list and check entries at my leisure.

Date: 2009-01-08 11:22 pm (UTC)Ohh. Shiny tags! Nicely organized.
And I'm liking this 3-limit post rule. As much as it is nice to read fics by the gallons, it's not so much the spam, but when the quality, plot, and grammar/punctuation goes down because there's some burning out. There's also the intimidation factor for new writers when they see the abundance of posts being made.
But, anyways I'm happy this comm. is off to a good start. ^_^

Date: 2009-01-11 01:35 pm (UTC)But, um, I think I need to change them, and before I start mucking with that, I need to know if characters who are only mentioned in passing (vs. being active characters in the drabble) actually count for a tag?
