It could have been, but for one boy made of rubber, smiles and hope.

When the son of a great pirate is led to his execution, it could easily be the end.

But Luffy doesn't think so.

What no Brooke? But Luffy is awesome because he defines perseverance through seemingly hopeless situations! Just when you think it's going down, he's there and making you shriek with joy when he wins and he will win in the current arc if Whitebeard doesn't beat him to it, but even that would be refreshing for a change and save his brother and the entire world is going to see just how far this small rookie can go!!

Thanks for getting me pumped up for the next chapter! This fic really brings on a familiar adrenaline rush! :D

I wanted to make it a 100-word drabble!

Luffy makes all the difference! Because he won't even consider giving up, and he will totally win at the end of this arc too! He lost at Impel Dawn, but he still wouldn't give up!

I really liked this. This is like short but straight to the point. yet you said so much with it. I love it to pieces. This is luffy. XD there's no way around it.

If luffy decides it's gonna happen. .. really the marines should just pack up and let ace go. XD cause luffy's already decided ace is going to be saved.
