Character/Pairing: Chopper, very heavily implied Franky/Robin
Rating PG-13 for implied sex between consenting adults.
Word Count: 299
Prompt: Hormones
Summary: Perhaps one of the few times where Chopper wishes that his hearing wasn't so sensitive.
Notes: Because we all know Franky would be a screamer, anyway.
Chopper was a doctor.
Not only was he a doctor, but he was a damned good doctor, to boot!
He didn't necessarily know everything there was to know about medicine, healing the sick, and so on - but he knew the basics and beyond and he knew how to work with what he knew in order to ensure that every last one of his shipmates received the very best care and treatment that he could offer.
One of the basics that came with being a doctor was a strong knowledge of the body and how it worked; this included all parts of human anatomy, even the ones he wasn't terribly comfortable thinking about. But he was a doctor, and it was his duty to know these things!
For example, Chopper knew that humans were animals just like he was, and that sometimes - whether they realized it or not - the parts of their bodies that he didn't like thinking about sent their brains messages in order to tell them to go and do...things. Either with themselves or someone else, but from a purely instinctual standpoint, the most natural urge would be with someone else.
He also knew that this was why his nakama sometimes dressed and acted certain ways, and he was fairly certain that this was also why Franky and Robin wandered below deck and into his workshop about an hour prior. Although, this certainty was mostly structured on the fact that Franky was loud and outspoken when it came to most things, and these kind of things were no exception.
Chopper was just glad that, laws of nature and the human body permitting, they (or at least the sounds Franky was making) would finish soon.
Until then, Chopper would simply hope to be struck temporarily deaf.

Date: 2010-01-31 11:03 am (UTC)I'm just wondering, now that you've written this, a reindeer's sense of smell is also much more acute than a human being's. SO THAT WOULD MEAN THAT CHOPPER WOULD KNOW, AT ANY POINT IN TIME, IF SOMEONE WAS WANKING/FUCKING ON-BOARD. THE POOR THING.
This was well-written AS USUAL. And I love that Franky and Robin act like level-headed mature adults and work off steam and sexual needs in such an arrangement. :9 Franky and his "SUPERRR! AOWW!" I bet all the Straw-Hats are, like, -stuffs ear plugs in ear- while Sanji tries not to poison all the cola on-board and Luffy's just nonplussed. I LOVED THIS. <3333333 And it was a good take on the prompt ♥ '___'b

and haha, yeah, PRETTY MUCH. and yeah, no matter what the situation, Franky will always be as loud as he possibly can. It's just how he rolls. We all know he'd shout "super" whenever he came, anyway. 9u6
